A blockchain node is a computer that participates in a blockchain network. Nodes are responsible for storing the blockchain’s transaction history, verifying new transactions, and communicating with other nodes in the network.

There are different types of blockchain nodes, each with a different role to play in the network. Some of the most common types of nodes include:

Full nodes: Full nodes store the entire blockchain ledger, including all of the transactions that have ever been made on the network. This makes them the most reliable nodes, as they always have access to the latest and most accurate information about the blockchain.
Light nodes: Light nodes do not store the entire blockchain ledger. Instead, they only store the block headers, which are a summary of each block in the blockchain. This makes light nodes less reliable than full nodes, but they require less storage space and computing power.
Miner nodes: Miner nodes are responsible for verifying new transactions and adding them to the blockchain. They do this by solving complex mathematical problems. The first miner node to solve the problem gets to add the new block to the blockchain and is rewarded with cryptocurrency.
Wallet nodes: Wallet nodes are used to store cryptocurrency. They allow users to send, receive, and manage their cryptocurrency.
Blockchain nodes are essential for the security and functionality of blockchain networks. They help to ensure that the blockchain is tamper-proof and that all transactions are valid. Blockchain nodes are also used to power a variety of blockchain solutions
